Is your computer slow?
Most slow computers don't need to be replaced. Often the problem is an old hard drive, too little memory, or too many programs starting up. We check what's really slowing it down and tell you the cheapest fix.
Virus and pop-up removal
Fake virus warnings, pop-ups that won't go away, or a browser that keeps changing are signs of unwanted software. Don't call phone numbers shown in pop-ups. Bring the computer in and we'll clean it up safely.
SSD and RAM upgrades
Swapping an old hard drive for an SSD can make a computer start in seconds instead of minutes. We install the new parts and move your files and programs over, so you can keep using the computer you know.
Computer repair questions
How much does computer repair cost?
It depends on the problem and any parts needed. A tune-up is $49.99, virus removal is $89.99 and a Windows reinstall is $79.99. Small repairs start at $39.99. The basic check and quote are free; if we need to open it up and test parts, the diagnostic is $40 — taken off your repair bill if you go ahead.
Is an SSD upgrade worth it?
For most computers with an old hard drive, yes. It is usually the single biggest speed improvement, for much less than a new computer.
I got a pop-up saying my computer has a virus. What should I do?
Don't call the number in the pop-up and don't let anyone connect to your computer remotely. Close the browser and bring the computer in for a check.
Will I lose my files?
Most repairs don't touch your files. If Windows has to be reinstalled or a drive replaced, we tell you before we start.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in during store hours with your computer and power cable.
